Wow who would have thought that the Cyc'd for Smiddy blog would have reached 5,000 page views in just 6 months!!!
Six months ago I started the blog to let people know about our involvement in the Smiling for Smiddy Challenge to raise money for cancer research and to raise awareness of this fantastic cause.
In those six months a lot has happened. The four members of Cyc'd for Smiddy, Gav, Brad, Dammo and myself have raised over $60,000 for the Mater Foundation, have ridden around 35,000 km (this year) including the Smiddy Challenge and received the most unbelievable support from family, friends and businesses. Also in that time we have been rocked by the news that Brad's wife Fleur had been diagnosed with breast cancer......who would have thought any of this would have happened in just a short six months.
I'm planning on sticking with the blog and hope that its following continues to grow. I hope in the coming months to announce a new project for raising money for cancer research so stay tuned for an exciting announcement (hopefully!!)
I am amazed by the following that the blog has had and for those of you who are interested in some stats here are where most of the visitors have come from.....
