It was a great night made even better by having Mark "Sharky" Smoothy the founder of Smiling for Smiddy join us for the night.
Mark gave a great talk about what it means to be a part of the Smiddy team. As usual his heartfelt comments and gratitude to everyone for their involvement made everyone feel special.
With two weeks remaining before we head off it was great to be around our supporters and families.
We announced last night that we had reached our target of $50,000 which is an amazing effort by all the guys. It wouldn't have been possible without all the fantastic support from the individuals and businesses who have so generously supported us in our effort to raise money for the Mater Foundation and cancer research.
We're looking forward to the next two weeks as make final preparations for the trip north.
