Fund raising reaches $40,000!!!

Wow who would have thought that when we started this adventure that with a month still to go we would have reached $40,000 in our fund raising. I really need to acknowledge the efforts of the other guys Brad, Gav and Dammo who have thrown themselves into their fund raising efforts and the results are now showing with the four Cyc'd members holding done places 1, 3, 5 and 8 in the top fund raisers of the 50 riders.

When the four of us first sat down to set a target we felt ambitious so set the target at $25,000 which we knew would be a tough ask. But what we didn't know at that time was just how generous our friends, families and collegues would be when it came to donating in support of cancer research. On top of that we have received tremendous support from the corporate and business sector and we are extremely grateful for that support. This support has been made through direct cash donations, hosting fund raising efforts, raffle prizes or product support.

A few weeks ago we set a new target of $50,000 and with a few more things planned we are going to do everything we can to make it.
