Well we knew that this weekend just past was going to be a big one for the team with the Smiddy training on Sunday but we didn't know it was going to be this big!!
Between 6am Saturday and 6 am Monday the team completed a total of 1000 kilometres in what was a great effort by all the boys. We actually had reached 940 kilometres at 1.30pm yesterday at the end of the Smiddy ride so Dammo and Kent took one for the team and hauled their tired butts out of bed at 4.15am for a quick 40k ride to see us reach our goal of 1000ks. Not quite sure how Brad and Gav managed to work that but good luck to them as it was bloody cold out there this morning.
