Who is Adam Smiddy?

This challenge that we are fortunate to be a part of is named after a very special individual named Adam Smiddy. None of the Cyc'd boys knew him but we feel like we do. He touched many people's lives and the Smiddy Challenge keeps his memory alive for so many people.
