Well the mercury plummeted here in Brisbane but the boys (less Gav the youngest member of our team who had a nice warm sleep in) were still out on the road at 4.30am despite the temperature reaching a chilly 6 degrees which felt more like 3 degrees on the bike.
It was so cold that we were even forced to have our coffee inside at our regular coffee haunt Spoon East Brisbane.
Hoping for a slightly warmer mornings in the coming weeks as we ramp up our milage.
